Playa los Molinos is another tiny little beach and hamlet on the west coast of Fuerteventura. You reach it by driving down a very long, wiggly road, which becomes narrower and less well made as you reach the sea. Here, we found a slow, dried-up green stream oozing into the sea and a small collection of weekend houses, mobile homes and one cafe/snackbar.
There was a pebbly beach with a small patch of volcanic sand. Goats played on the banks of the stream, ducks waddled around and cats tried to engratiate themselves with you, in return for a scrap of lunch.
I think we can safely say this is not Fuerteventura's most up-market region. NEXT ->
