Pajara - Church and Village Square
Pajara is a particularly attractive and prosperous-looking little town in the central southern region of Fuerteventura. It is situated at a thriving, busy crossroads at the foot of the mountains.
Pajara has a delightful, pretty church at its centre with a carved stone and wood entrance. Alongside is a tree-filled square, an old waterwheel and cafes. Behind the church is a children's playground, a library and a public swimming pool - all very beautifully situated beneath the trees in a small park.
We were never here at the right time to enjoy a meal, but the little restaurants and bars seemed to be popular with the locals and looked very tempting. NEXT ->
