Fuerteventura, Canary Islands : Morro Veloso - viewpoint, Mirador
This is the view point and visitor centre at the Mirador, Morro Velosa. We arrived here mid morning and it was FREEZING! Hats off to Tony, who stood outside on the balcony in the gale force wind, photgraphing the panoramic view. Very impressive. I stayed indoors and looked at the exhibitions (which were not particularly impressive, but it was warmer). MORE... |

"From our accommodation, down in the valley at Antigua, we could see this montain-top, with a curious hexagonal structure at the top. Never imaging for one moment that there woud be a road leading al the way up to it, we drove in its general direction one day... and ended up here!
