Fuerteventura, Canary Islands : Las Playitas, harbour and old town
This is a small village near the end of a no-through road. (You can continue as far as the light house at Faro de la Entellada, I believe but...) The small, white-washed houses are built on a hillside and tumble down towards the sea. Here, there is a harbour with fishing boats, a small, narrow beach and a pedestrianised walk-way. You can buy an ice-cream here or a long cool beer and a meal at one of the two restaurants. We watched the sun go down and really didn't want to move. Picture-postcard-pretty. MORE... |
