There is very little in the way of buildings on the island of Lobos. These wooden chalets greet you as you land on the island - you can see the pier and the day boat arriving here, on this shot. The chalets were shut up when we were there (Easter 2009) but looked quite new. Just around the coast from here is the tiny port "El Puertito" with some ancient fishermen's cottages, built from the volcanic stone of the island.
There are no cars here, in fact there is no electricity, other than that provided by a generator at the "restaurant". It is almost totally natural.
