At the far end of the main shopping street are the more recently developed shopping areas, shown here. This is close to the Aqua Park and Adventure Centre (Buka Water Park). There is a market here on Mondays and Wednesdays.
This whole area feels spacious and brand new. As you can see, more development is currently going on - yet more shops, bars and restaurants I presume. Some of the more up-market jewellers and bars can be found in this area too and there are lots of supermarkets and shopping centres - which is ideal if your accommodation is one of the close-by self catering apartments.
