As you drive out of the main town of Corralejo, to the sand dunes area, you come across this delightful sight: the blue sky swarming with colourful kites, from the kite surfers at Flagbeach. Here, you can hire windsurf boards and wet suits too (www.flagbeach.com).
You can certainly see why it is ideally suited to windsurfing/ sailboarding and kite surfing - the wind is strong and dependable, the flat sand goes on forever, with no other holidaymakers to get in the way and the waves make it all a little more challenging! In the distance are the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. It is a beautiful beach. NEXT ->
