Caleton de las Playas beaches are the small, sandy beaches along the east coast from Corralejo, in the sand dune region. There are 2 or 3 small, curved, sandy beaches like this, where it's fun to watch the surfers, bobbing about on the waves, waiting for the "Big One".
When we were there (Easter 2009), it was too cold and windy for swimming without a wetsuit, but a pretty place to visit. The islands in the far background are Lanzarote and Isla de Lobos. NEXT ->
