Fuerteventura, Canary Islands : Corralejo - Beach
This small, sandy beach is one of the tiny ones and sits at the far north of the resort, in the old part of town. Despite the fact that the black, volcanic rocks may not look too attractive, we quite liked it here. The old buildings jostle together, alongside narrow streets and alleys. Restaurants spill out onto the pavements and beach, while behind the beach is the busy Corralejo harbour and the views out to Lanzarote and the island of Lobos. MORE... |

"Corralejo, at the north of the island of Fuerteventura has many small beaches, as well as some HUGE sandy expansive beaches, just out of town, at the Sand Dune area (Dunas de Corralejo).
