The Colonel's house dates from the eighteenth century and used to be the official home of the Colonel who was the military authority on the Fuerteventura. It is (and was) an idea place to hold ceremonies, exhibitions or celebrations.
Nowadays, its just a pleasant place to visit. The house is built around an open courtyard and the rooms are bright, airy and spacious with beautiful wood work construction. You can see on the lower floors where the grain store and coach house used to be. Look up at the slats supporting the floor above! NEXT ->
