Fuerteventura, Canary Islands : Sea Cliffs at Ajuy
I loved it here - my favourite place on the whole island. The cliffs were spectacular; moulded from cooling lava, with some fantastic rock formations. You could walk along this path for further than we had time for, and then return to the small village to lie on the beach or feast in one of the many excellent fish restaurants. Many locals had driven here for precisely these reasons and the fish meals were some of the best we've ever had. There's no accommodation for tourists here: it's a proper Canarian fishing village.
