Fuerteventura, Canary Islands : Ajuy Ajui - Beach
We had lunch at one of the many restaurants, along with plenty of locals and very few tourists. This is definitely the place to eat fresh fish. Our (whole) squid nearly swam right up to our plates. With nothing to disturb us, but the murmur of well-fed voices, the crunch of the receding waves on the pebbly beach and the sun on our faces, we were in heaven. This is a day-trip sort of place by the way: no accommodation, no concessions to tourists, no facilities or other "development" other than the restaurants and what nature provided. Lovely. MORE... |
